May 17 screening with James Benning in Los Angeles
The Garden City will screen with James Benning’s One Way Boogie Woogie (1977) at the Outpost for Contemporary Art in Highland Park. The evening, which includes performances by Leslie Dick and Sarah Wang, is part of “My Footnote to David Askevold,” a series of events organized by artist Julie Lequin. Films will be projected on 16mm!

Images Festival details
The program for Images is now online. The Garden City is showing at the closing night gala before b.h. Yael’s film Trading the Future on Sunday 13 April at 7pm. Venue is the Joseph Workman Theatre, 1001 Queen St. West, Toronto, ONT, Canada, M6J 1H4.
