Just published: my review of Machine Project: A Field Guide to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in the current issue of Art Lies.

Common Ground is scheduled for spring screenings at festivals in Wisconsin and New Mexico: the Wisconsin Film Festival in Madison (April 15-18, 2010; location and time TBA) and Experiments in Cinema v5.1 in Albuquerque (Wednesday 14 April, 8:20PM, Guild Cinema).

I’m pleased to announce that Common Ground will be showing at the 27th Torino Film Festival this month. This will be its continental European premiere, shown alongside Deborah Stratman’s excellent O’er the Land. The festival looks like it’s going to be great: retrospectives of Nicolas Ray, Nagisa Oshima, Ken Jacobs, and so many other exciting films… I will be in attendance!
